Descriptif du poste

RENECO's  mission is to implement a global conservation strategy aiming to restore and preserve the Houbara bustard populations of North Africa (Chlamydotis undulata) and Asia (Chlamydotis macqueenii).

To achieve these goals, RENECO has developed a multidisciplinary approach within different centers in Morocco, Central Asia, and the Arabian Peninsula by combining fundamental and applied research.

Your main missions will be:

  • Securing and guaranteeing the implementation of breeding phases to achieve production objectives according to the Conservation Breeding Division (CBD) guidelines (what?) and the Center Management Division (CMD) framework (How?).
  • Ensuring that the breeding fundamentals are respected as per protocols established.
  • Facilitating the communication between the project and CMD management, ensuring the smooth exchange of information.
  • Monitoring the compliance of the means available on site to reach targets and advise CMD for modification or improvements to be done (Infrastructure/personnel/equipment, etc.).
  • In charge of staff capacity building (Evaluation of employees, organization of training sessions, team management, and schedule supervision).
